Another Opinion

The world doesn't need another opinion.

There are already enough of those.

The world needs to be loved, to be brought whole.

So what does love look like?

Giving when I want to take...

Patience in the midst of a storm.

It looks like bending when I think I'm going to break.

To find out I can bend a little more.

It looks like keeping my mouth shut when I have something to say.

So I can hear the heart of the person bleeding right in front of me.

Instead of passing on criticism - sharing in passion.

And acknowledging the safety there.

Everyone is looking for the best for them, in them, and around them.

I shouldn't make that journey harder, but light the path along the way.
